Tibet Foundation gave its first "free walking tour of the Tibetan Peace Garden" to a group of 37 A-level students from Greenhead College, Huddersfield HD1 4ES. Ian Kennedy, their Relgious Studies (RS) teacher, coordinated the event on Monday, July 2nd (3:30pm-4:30pm) during which Dhondup Samten, Tibetan Foundation's Executive Director, engaged with the young people through a short talk on Foundation's work and the basic principles of Buddhism followed by questions and answers. We will be looking forwarding to organising a similar event for Greenhead College students next year. Tibet Foundation is considering making the "free walking tour of the Tibetan Peace Garden" a monthly event.
