Running for Tibet 2005

We are delighted that one of our supporters, Richard Tippett, will be running the 2005 London Marathon on Sunday, 17 April 2005 for the Tibet Foundation. Please Support Him! Richard Tippett is a keen runner and has already completed two half marathons. He is now training hard for this, his first full marathon. He believes that this is a practical way in which he can help Tibetan people living in Tibet and in other countries such as India and Nepal. Tibet Foundation is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2005. Last year Kelsang Dolma Dodin ran the London Marathon to raise funds and create awareness of the Foundation. The Tibet Foundation is a non-political organisation working to preserve Tibetan Culture, and assist the Tibetan People across the world. It was established in 1985 to provide healthcare, education and social economic support for people of Tibetan origin, both those living in exile, and those living in Tibet itself. It provides facilities to create a greater awareness of Tibetan culture and works to ensure its preservation, also to make available the thoughts and ideas of HH the Dalai Lama, spreading his message of peace and harmony. Please help Richard if you can - ask family, friends, colleagues and neighbours to contribute. If you would like Sponsorship Forms, please contact us. In order to reclaim income tax under the Gift Aid scheme, it would be helpful if sponsors ticked and dated the Gift Aid column and provided their full name, address and signature. Please make cheques payable to Tibet Foundation. Further information: 020 7930 6001 or events@tibet-foundation.org
