Anniversary Reception
The Foundation’s anniversary reception will be held at the October Gallery, 24 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AL on Friday 28th October 2011 at 7pm.

Tibet Foundation Day - update
To mark the 26th Anniversary of the Tibet Foundation, a special event highlighting the Tibetan Tradition of Herbal Medicine will be held in London at the Brunei Gallery Lecture Theatre, SOAS on Wednesday 26th October 2011 at 7pm.
Dr Mingji Cuomu, a senior lecturer at the Lhasa Tibetan Medical Collegeand associated member and academic visitor in the University of Oxford, will be speaking on Tibetan Medicine: A Holistic Approach. She is also a practicing Tibetan medical doctor with over twenty years of practice in both Tibet and Overseas.
Dr Tsewang Gyatso’s talk has been cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. As a result of long delay in processing the passports for the delegation in Tibet, UK visas could not be processed in time. Therefore, regrettably, the planned visit by the delegation from Yushu has been postponed indefinitely.
This special lecture by Dr Cuomu is organized in co-operation with SOAS (as part of the Circle of Tibetan and Himalayan Studies).
The event will also include a short Video Film - Yushu: A Year After The Earthquake with a commentary by Phuntsog Wangyal who visited the place in August and Tibetan Folk Songs and Music by Tibetan artistes living in UK, followed by a brief presentation of the Foundation’s Annual Report by a trustee.
This occasion will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about Tibetan tradition of medicine and the situation and work of the Foundation in Yushu.
