A Public talk and seminars by Ringu Tulku Rinpoche Sat 16 April at 7.30 pm A Public talk on Happiness Sun 17 April 10.30 - 12.30 and 2 -4pm Seminars Ringu Tulku Rinpoche is a Tibetan Buddhist master of the Kagyu order. He was trained in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism under many great masters such as the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa and HH Dilgo Khentse Rinpoche. He undertook formal education at the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Gangtok and Sampurnananda Sanskrit University, Varanasi, India. Her served as professor of Tibetology in Sikkim for seventeen years. His doctoral thesis was on Rime (the ecumenical movement in Tibet). Since 1990 he has been teaching Buddhism and meditation at more than 50 universities, institutes and Buddhist Centres in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and Asia. Rinpoche participates in various interfaith dialogues, and has written several books on Buddhism both in Tibetan and European languages. He founded Bodhicharya, an international organisation coordinating worldwide activities aiming to preserve and transmit Buddhist teachings, promoting intercultural dialogue and developing educational and social projects. Lunch and refreshments available, Seminars will be signed for the deaf.
