The Foundation's Art and Culture programme presents an opportunity to raise and discuss issues surrounding Sino-Tibet Relations and the hopes of resolution through dialogue and through His Holiness the Dalai Lama's approach of non-violence.

Discussion panels includes:
Tsering Dhondup Gonkatsang - Chair
Tibetan Language teacher at the Tibetan and Himalayan Studies of Oriental Faculty, Oxford University. Translator for the Tibet Information Network. An editorial member of Tibet Foundation's quarterly published Newsletter. A former General Secretary of the Tibetan Community in Britain.
Sonam Tsering Frasi
An elected Member of the Assembly of Tibetan People's Deputies (ATPD), representing Tibetans residing in Europe, at the Exiled Tibetan Governments' Parliament based in Dharamsala, India.
A former Chairman of the Tibetan Community in Britain.
Tsering Shakya
A Tibetan scholar on modern history of Tibet. Fellow in Tibetan Studies at the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS), London University. Author of The Dragon in the Land of Snows: A History of Modern Tibet since 1947.Other works include the translation of Fire Under the Snow, an autobiography of Palden Gyatso, a monk and former Tibetan political prisoner
