Aid to Tibet Projects - Development

The high plateau of Tibet is one of the world's last great wildernesses.

The vast nomadic grasslands and high mountains give Tibet its unique character, but few opportunities to increase their wealth, and improve their standard of living.

Aid to Tibet is developing ways to help Tibetan people benefit further from their environment. From providing Yaks to old-people's homes, to micro hydroelectric power stations, Aid to Tibet's development scheme is committed to helping Tibetans while protecting the environment.
